“Every once in a awhile, a dental material comes along that is truly a 'game changer.'  All dentists feel it.  Crown and bridge temporaries were forever changed by the introduction of resins like Integrity.  They freed us from the drudgery of using methacrylates.  Resin-reinforced ionomers and resin cements were a huge advancement over the zinc phosphate cements that dentists used for years.  And how many of us even remember taking impressions with plaster or copper bands?

I believe Surefil® SDR® flow and future SDR® products will change the way we practice in the same way. It is easier to dispense – far better than other flowables. The material allows us to seal the bottom of a proximal box without fear of voids or gaps- it form-fits to its surroundings. It allows us to concentrate on the last two millimeters in creating a natural composite restoration in much less time and with confidence that the margins are sealed.

This material has excellent fracture strength, a huge depth of cure, and shrinkage stress is low. Add this to the way it adapts to the floor and walls of the box, and you have a huge advancement in day to day dentistry.

Simply stated, I LOVE this material!”
